Will YOU win?

Mother, Grandmother and I attempted, and defeated, a family recipe for Christmas sugar cookies.

The challenge is issued to you- the person who most closely guesses what these original cookies (pre frosting and attack from Kathy with the sprinkles) were, wins a prize. Or the most creative guess. Or the best review. Really, whatever makes me laugh the hardest is going to win.

Ask Meg, the prize is AMAZING.

You have until January 7th.

Time starts now.

  1. 1. On your first cookie I know how you got the sprinkles to look like that-because that was the method I always used growing up when we had to "decorate cookies for FHE" (it got old FAST). After I tried to "creatively" sprinkle sprinkles on the cookies I got bored of that and ended up taking a cookie and smashing it frosting side down into my plate of the leftover sprinkles. Thus creating the cookie to look like that and to cause my mother's nose to wrinkle. I'm assuming you did the same thing.

ANYWAYS. Paul thinks the first cookie looks like a shoe which is SO NOT ORIGINAL. I say it looks like a pumpkin pasty, just because I have to give some sort of Harry Potter reference. Maybe it looks like a Pensieve?

    2. The second one looks like a poop. Except if your poop is that color, I don't think it's a good thing.

I'm going to bed. Did I win? I like to win.

  2. #1 is a hightop basketball shoe, whether it's unoriginal of me to think so or not. No matter which way I look at it, it's an Air Jordan, from the days of our youth.

#2 is clearly Slimer of Ghostbusters fame. Frosting him in white was clever of you, as Slimer is supposed to be that bright, obnoxious green color. Most people might look at that and think "it's a ghost!" But you can't fool ME, Katie!

  3. The prize IS amazing!!! Seriously, that was GOOD stuff. Best I've had of it's kind. I had to fight Brooks for the last piece.
